Clara's Legacy

Clara Ionie Solomon: A Life of Service

Clara Ionie Solomon believed faith was something to be lived.

She prayed with the hurting, encouraged the discouraged, taught children and adults, cared for family members and neighbors, supported churches and ministries, and quietly gave to others whenever she saw a need.

Many people knew Clara as a caregiver. Others knew her as a teacher, mentor, entrepreneur, prayer warrior, and friend. To her family, she was a woman whose faith remained steadfast through both joy and hardship.

One expression of Clara's generosity was her commitment to helping family and communities throughout the Caribbean. She regularly gathered clothing, school supplies, household goods, and other necessities to send to loved ones and those in need.

Her life reflected the words of Galatians 6:9:

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Today, Jar & Leaf Ministries seeks to continue that legacy of practical compassion, spiritual encouragement, and service to others.
